Beloved husband of Colette Philion (nee Pitre). Loving father of Francine Gendron (Pierre), Lyse Boyle (Richard), Lynne Philion (Lori), and Gilles Philion (Denise). Cherished grandfather of Shawn, Alain (Cammie), Hannah, Justin, and Tyler, and great grandchild Talia. Dear son of Amedée and Marelda Philion both predeceased. Dear brother of Leo predeceased (wife Goldie), Corine Poirier, Cecile Richer (Alcide predeceased), Marianne Depatie predeceased (Lionel), Lucille Audet (Lucien predeceased), Marthe Belzile-Miron (Jean-Paul predeceased), Laurent Philion predeceased (wife Bernadette), Florence Girard predeceased (Stan). Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Roland was a conductor with CNR and VIA Rail for 39 years.
