Obituary for Helen Laine

In Memory of
Helen Elaine
(nee Heino) Laine

It is with heavy heart that the family announces her sudden passing at the age of 82, Tuesday June 26th at Health Sciences North. She was the beloved daughter of Nestor and Anne (Myllynen) Heino (both predeceased), loving wife of Leo Laine (predeceased) to whom she was married for 53 years. Beloved mother of Richard Allan, sister-in-law to Eira and Jack (predeceased) Robinson, cherished aunt of Gary Robinson, Dawna (Robinson) Brown, Gary and Karyn Robinson.
Helen was born in Espanola in 1935, but spent the majority of her life in Sudbury. She was an active member of the Sudbury Finnish Senior Citizens Club. She loved arts and crafts. Having grown up on a farm, she loved animals, with cats in the house for many years. Most of all, she loved people and people loved her. She always had a smile and a kind word for people. She was a most loving, giving and patient person and will be remembered appreciatively always.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Arthritis Society in her name are appreciated.
