Condolence: Dear Reena, Donna, Theresa, Bert, Cheryl, Wendy and David, There aren't enough words that can ever take away the pain that each of you are feeling now.  In this time of sorrow, I wanted to share my favourite memory of Ernie; one that always puts a smile on my face. I remember one summer day at your big house on Alexander Street, a party was taking place. At least I think it was a party, but knowing you all, it could have just as easily been a Thursday afternoon - there was always a reason to celebrate.  In typical fashion, David did "something" (not sure what, as he was always getting into trouble), but whatever he did this time, it must have been really bad, as he flew down the driveway and headed towards the train tracks behind your garage.  At that exact moment, Ernie flew out of the house, ran through the backyard and jumped over the fence, chasing David.  Now I don't recall what happened afterwards (but I'm sure David does), as I was memorized by what I just witnessed.  I was confident that my uncle was either the Flash or Superman as I swear his feet never touched the ground.  And THAT is how I will always remember my uncle: as a superhero.  All my love to you - Jack

Condolence From: Mary Lou (Turner) Potter
Condolence: Aunt Marina and Family, We are all very sorry to hear of Uncle Ernie’s passing. We all remember him as the most soft spoken and polite man we have ever met. Of course, it was hard to get a word in when our Mom (Helena) and Aunt Joan were in the room at the same time. You are in our prayers, The Turner Family, Earl, Susan, Caroline, Mary Lou, Joanne and Roberta
