Peacefully, Tuesday, July 24th, 2018 at her residence.

Beloved wife of Richard “Dick” Schofield predeceased 2003. Loving mother of Shelley Boyd and Rick Schofield (wife Monique). Cherished Gramma of Ryan (Sara), Ashley (Stephen), Matthew, Krista, Carissah, and great grandchildren Nora and Tripp. Dear daughter of Angie and Charlie McGaughey both predeceased. Dear sister of Lorene Lewis (Carl), Kay Hedley (Rudy), Virginia predeceased, Chuck McGaughey predeceased (Therese), Art “Ricky” McGaughey (Gail), Jack McGaughey (Sharon), and Frank McGaughey (Gwen) both predeceased. Dear daughter in law of Harry and Kay Schofield both predeceased. Dear sister in law of Wilf (Shirley predeceased), Coleen, Coreen (Wayne), Kathy (Keith), Doreen (Keith predeceased) and Lucy. Sadly missed by many loving nieces and nephews.
Lil owned and operated the North Star confectionery. She had been a very active member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #76 Sudbury, and a longtime member of the RCL Br. 76 Ladies Auxiliary, having served on various committees and in executive positions, and delivering poppies to the schools. In recognition of her efforts, she had been given the Lady of the Year Award.
In lieu of flowers, donations to RCL Br. #76 Sudbury Poppy Fund would be appreciated.

Funeral Service at the
Lougheed Funeral Home
252 Regent Street at Hazel Street, Sudbury
Monday, July 30th, 2018 at 11am.
Interment in the Civic Memorial Cemetery.
(Friends may call 2-5; 7-9pm Sunday and after 10am Monday)
A memorial service will be held under the auspices of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #76, at 7:30pm Sunday.
