Condolence: Hey, best friend, hate to see you go, but being you, you answered the call without question. You hated to leave. I know, you were the real Santa, so did the little boys and girls at St. Francis school and so your elderly friends at Extended Care. What are the nurses going to do for their Christmas party? They will remember you.

Bev will now have to polish your NORTHERN ONTARIO MASTER CURLING CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY, the trophy you won in North Bay in the early nineties.

I know the kids you instructed at the old “Y” (not kids anymore) will wish you well in your new surroundings.

I don’t see any of your golfing and hunting buddies anymore but you still have a quite a few card playing buddies around. They will miss you.

Alas my friend that is the price we pay for growing older.
