Passed away suddenly after suffering from a long illness at her residence on Sunday, September 23rd, 2018

Beloved daughter of Linda Michelin & Ed Wheeler. Loving and proud mother of Deacon (friend Nicole) & Landon Michelin. Cherished spouse & best friend of Chris Griffith of Capreol. Sister of Andrew (Jamie) of Capreol and Angie (Darryl) of Manitouwadge. Loved Auntie Brooks of Ericka, Noah, Sophie, Ryley, Madyson and Trista. Dear granddaughter of Mike & Kitty Hayes of Newfoundland and Ray (predeceased) & Bertha Wheeler (Ambrose) of Capreol. She will be sadly missed by her aunts & uncles Beneta (Ches predeceased), Heather (Glen), Sheldon (Yvonne), Tammy (Prince) and Luke (Karen) all of Newfoundland, Donna (Harry), Gord (Gail) and Max predeceased all of Capreol and many cousins & friends. Her beloved canine companion Daisy will miss her.
Brooks loved her boys more than anything. She had a big loving heart and was a very giving person. Though she had her struggles she never let that bring her down and her light we loved shinned through no matter what.
Friends may gather at the Lougheed Funeral Home Hanmer/Capreol Chapel (4605 Michelle Drive, Hanmer) Friday, September 28th, 2018 from 4-8 pm with short prayers at 7:30 pm.
