In Loving Memory of Brenda Elizabeth Humeniuk who passed away on Tuesday, September 25th, 2018 at Health Sciences North, surrounded by her loving family.
Beloved wife of 46 years to Bob Humeniuk. Loving mother of Ryan (Lisa) and Matthew (predeceased). Cherished Grandma of Bobby, Benjamin, and Brody.
Beloved daughter of Alexander and Cecilia Belshaw (both predeceased) and loving sister of Neil, Drew (Kathy), and Barry (Janine). Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Brenda was a proud employee of Canadian Blood Services, where she built a strong relationship with her coworkers, many of whom she considered as her closest friends. During her illness, the support she received from her coworkers was overwhelming.
Brenda is remembered as a strong, brave, sweet, caring, beautiful woman, who always put the needs of others before her own. She adored her three grandsons and cherished every minute she spent with them. As a resident of Skead for 40 years, she enjoyed the outdoors, the lake, and the community.
The family would like to thank Dr. Lacey Pitre, Dr. Killian deBlacam, and the dedicated nurses from the Respiratory Care Unit at Health Sciences North. In lieu of flowers donations to the Northern Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.
Funeral visitation at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch St., Sudbury (Friends may call 2-5pm and 7-9pm on Thursday October 4th). A luncheon in Brenda’s honour will be held on Friday October 5th from 11am-2pm (words of remembrance at 11:50am) at the Skead Community Centre, 3971 Skead Rd.
