HENDERSON, Marion M. - In Loving Memory of Marion M. Henderson, who passed away peacefully in the early hours of Saturday, January 19th, 2019 in her 92 year, after a brief illness. Born in Scotland, she came to Canada in 1952 as a newlywed, and arrived in Ottawa. Ahead of her time, she graduated in Medicine from the University of Glasgow in 1951 and pursued a career in medicine, practicing in Ottawa, Winnipeg, and Montreal, until her retirement in 1994, when she moved to Sudbury to be with her family.

Beloved wife of Rev. A.J.T. Henderson predeceased 1993. Loving mother of Ann (husband Lindsay Vanderbeck) and Alex predeceased (wife Isabelle). Cherished grandmother of Kaitlin (Charles), R. Lindsay (Emma), and A.J. Dear daughter of Archibald and Jean (Scott) Whitelaw both predeceased. Dear sister of Elizabeth Whitelaw predeceased.

Thanks are extended to the doctors and staff of St. Joseph’s CCC, Health Sciences North, and Pioneer Manor for the excellent care Marion received. A special thank you to Dr. Jennifer Zymantas and Dr. Killian deBlacam. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
