In Loving Memory
of
Carmelita, “Carmie, AKA Foxy by her loving late husband Klaus,” Fox-Richter
Who passed away on August 17th, 2019.

Dear daughter of the late Josephine Shigwadja (nee Fox). Carmie was predeceased by her husband Klaus (2013). She was a loving sister of Dorothy (Peter) of Wikwemikong, Virginia (Frank) of North Bay and predeceased by Leonard, Eli, Paul (Bella) and Sheila. Very special cousin of Jennifer Fox (Moon) , Rachel Arsenault, Joe Arsenault (Sarah) and son Mason Recollet- Arsenault and Sevana Fox (Brenden). Survived by special brother in law Johnny Recollet and special cousin Virginia Rose Corbiere. Will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Carmie taught school for over 30 years most of which were for the Sudbury Catholic Board. Carmie took early retirement and she and Klaus indulged in their love of travelling. They motored to both the east and west coasts of Canada. They camped and hiked in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. They travelled to Las Vegas, from there they took a side trip to the beautiful Death valley in California. They also visited the spectacular Grand Canyon in Arizona and took a side trip to Sedona. For 20 years they spent part of the winter months in Florida, but they always came home in time for Skiing. They also participated in other sports such as skating, golfing, tubing, canoeing and swimming.
Carmie was a very loving, warm, gentle, and intelligent person with a great sense of humour. She was loved by her many friends, relatives and students. She was an inspiration to us all and she was also a great role model.
