Carolyn Dorene (Little) Heimbecker
April 15th, 1943 - February 10th, 2021
Survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Barry Heimbecker. Proud mother of Lorrie Leger (Denis), Derrick Heimbecker, and Angela Heimbecker. Cherished grandmother of Corey Leger, Adam Leger (John Alunan), Kayla Huffles (Derek), Jamie Heimbecker (Jamie-Lee Mimeault), Alicia Switzer, and Brandon Heimbecker-Asturi. Special great-grandmother of Cali-Ann Switzer, Harmony Rae Switzer, and Arie Huffles. Carolyn was the daughter of Emerson and Annie Little, both predeceased. Carolyn will be dearly missed by many friends and family. She will be especially missed by her “Nobel Girls” and best friends Colette, Barb, and Carolle; and in-laws Ralph and Cathy and Bob and Judy.
Carolyn was always there to lend a helping hand to friends and family. Her youthful exuberance and quick wit will be missed by all. She was the rock for many of us and never complained through many of life’s challenges. Carolyn enjoyed sitting on the deck, sipping a glass of wine, and admiring her beautiful backyard pond and gardens.
We are grateful for the wonderful care she received at home (Jose and Jasmine) and from the HSN 8th Floor Cardiac Unit staff.
A celebration of life will be held in her garden at a later date when it is safe to do so. Donations can be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #179 Wheelchair Fund. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home, www.lougheedfuneralhomes.com.
