Obituary for Bogoljub Dobric
DOBRIC, Bogoljub “Bob”
It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Bogoljub “Bob” Dobric on Tuesday, March 30th,, 2021 at age 71 after a brave battle with COVID-19.
Devoted husband of Draga “Dorothy” and proud father of his two daughters, Vesna and Tanja, and his son, Zoran predeceased. They were the loves of his life.
Bogo was the loving son of Radovan and Stoja both predeceased and is survived by three brothers, Marko, Bosko, and Budo, and one sister, Ljuba. Even though most of them still live in Serbia, he still managed to remain a constant in all of their lives and treasured their conversations.
Bogo will also be missed by his sons-in-law, Todd and Mike, his father-in-law Mile (Ljuba), his brother-in-law Mico, his sister-in-law Maca, his many nieces and nephews, friends Rade and Nada, his coffee buddies, and many more. There were so many people that loved Bogo that it’s impossible to list them all.
Bogo made people laugh and was always willing to help (and even if you didn’t need it, he’d do it anyway). He was at his happiest being with his family and spending time in his backyard working on projects in his shed.
Due to current restrictions, there will be no visitation and a private family funeral will be held.
Thanks to an organ donor, Bogo was able to spend many more happy years with his family and friends. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to The Kidney Foundation of Canada.
