Obituary for Diana Evelyn Johnston (Walberg)

In loving memory of Diana E. Johnston (nee Walberg) at 87 year. She lost her battle with Alzheimer’s Disease on Friday, April 2, 2021. Mom was able to leave on her own terms – at home, in no pain surrounded by people who cared. Diana was born in Carlyle, Saskatchewan on November 19, 1933. She is predeceased by her parents Oscar and Evelyn Walberg and her oldest sister Aline “Juanita” Kline. Predeceased by her husband Glen Johnston in 2017, whom she married in 1958. She is survived by her four children Brad of Brampton, Craig of Wahnapitae, Wendy of Vancouver, B.C. and Tracy of Sudbury. Brad and Tracy would like to thank the nurses and PSW’s from Bayshore Home Health, Jeannine and Karen from Comfort Keepers, the PSW’s from Home Instead Senior’s Care and the Shared Care Team form the Maison McCulloch Hospice for making mom comfortable during her final days. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made by cheque or online to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, The Blue Door Club Soup Kitchen or to a charity of your choice. Interment of Diana’s ashes will take place at the Park Lawn Cemetery at a later date. There will be no funeral visitation or service. For donations or messages of condolence,
