Carolyn Mellaney (nee Fournier) passed away on April 5, 2021 after a brief illness with her children by her side. She is predeceased by her spouse of 43 years, John Mellaney. She is predeceased by her parents and siblings: Albert Fournier, Ellen Fournier (Smith), Terry Fournier, Cliff Fournier and Ellard Fournier. Carolyn is predeceased by her brother-in-laws: Leonard Mellaney, James Mellaney, Hugh Mellaney, Richard Hurme, and sister-in-laws Phyllis Mellaney and Sandra Fournier. She is survived by her adult children: Cynthia Mellaney (Ivan) and Eldon Mellaney (Tamara). Her 2 grandsons: Kendrick and Eric who were the apple of her eye. She is survived by her siblings Margaret Hurme, Joan Lalonde (Louis), Harold Fournier (Pauline), Lindsay Fournier (Sandra), Sydney Fournier (Marlene) and Randy Fournier. She is survived by her sister-in-laws: Ivy Mellaney (Leonard), Ellen Fournier (Terry), Ethel Fournier (Cliff) and Shirley Fournier (Ellard). She will be greatly missed by the family Pet Save Rescue: Queenie, the diva cat.

In keeping with Carolyn's wishes, there will be no visitation, however; a celebration of life will take place when Covid restrictions permit. In lieu of flowers, Carolyn has asked that donations be made to Pet Save, HSN Foundation or the Parkinson's Foundation of Canada.
