Dear Members of Earl's Family, Earl was my Grade 12 Chemistry teacher. I also have fond memories of the quartet he was in with Camille Laferriere, Maurice Gravelle, and George Thomson. We became colleagues when I was blessed to be hired at Tech in 1968. It was a joy to attend All Nations Church with Earl and Carol, and sometimes David. Earl sat across the aisle from me, and we had a big hug ritual each Sunday. I missed his presence this morning; as well, I thought of the good life Earl enjoyed for 86 years. I will be away at the time of the Memorial Service, and am sorry that I will not be able to attend. God bless your family as you carry on the Underwood legacy.
