We are very shocked to hear of Michael's passing. Our deepest sympathies go out to Monica and family. Although it has been many years, I will always remember Mike's wonderful sense of humor and the many adventures we had in our youth.

Thanksgiving has been very special to us. I travel from Timmins every year to be with my Nonnie and Uncle Michael. My kids have lots of memories. I gave Uncle Mike lots of desserts and he gave my kids lots of junk. You were never able to come in and give a little hug. It was always "bear" hugs and sloppy kisses. At thanksgiving dinner everyone always had to say what they were thankful for. He always said for family. Most of us added "and the food". Well I'm sending you the biggest bear hug ever Uncle Michael. Have a drink with mom, but let her know only one. Always in my heart, love you.

We would like to send our love and sincere condolences to Michael's family at this time. Monica, Michael Jr., Shannon and Mark, I wish I had something to say that would take all your pain away but I don't! I only wish that all of you have spent those last weeks and months reminiscing about all the great times spent together, the memories that you had made as well as making your peace with Michael, your husband and father. Mike was a very well respected man who many ppl looked up to, myself included! When we bought the house right across the street from the Delorme's and Lalonde's over 30 years ago, we were welcomed to the neighbourhood with open arms Mike, you will surly be missed by anyone who knew you, rest in peace now Kathy and Gord
