When someone touches your heart and does so without knowing the impact they have had - that is truly someone special. Earlier this year I woke up with a saddened heart as it was my first birthday without my mother, Freda's sister. Shortly after waking I then received an email from Freda wishing me a happy birthday and letting me know that her thoughts were with me on this day and the upcoming Mother's Day. That email had made my day in so many ways. Mom too had her list of important dates. This was not the only time that Freda had opened up her heart either. I am sure right now others are having similar memories of a wonderful woman. My sympathy to all the family and friends. Thank you Aunt Freda. Audrey and Eric Meyer Whitehorse, Yukon

Sending love and prayers to Auntie Freda's family and friends. On our trips to Ontario, I remember her as being a fun, flamboyant energetic lady and I always looked forward to our stops in Thunder Bay. As an adult, although I didn't get a chance to make it to Ontario very often, she kept in touch by sending me a Christmas card every year. I am grateful for getting the chance to see her in April and for all she did for our family. Rest in Peace Auntie!
