Words cannot even express what an amazing woman Mrs. Sheppard was. I was so lucky to be a part of her life, and have so many great memories with her. As I recall the stories it brings a smile to my face! She loved our entire family as if we were her own, and for that I am so grateful. You will forever be missed, but never forgotten "sheppie"! Xo

It is hard to say good-bye to someone we love so much. Betty embraced our Family and shared with us the wonder of true friendship. Kind, loving, generous and honest she saw the best in everyone and was an inspiration to us all I will miss you always. Thank you for loving us so well..I love you.

Rodney, David, Gordon, Linda and families: It's always difficult to say goodbye to someone like your mom. Although she's been a constant through the years in Falconbridge, we've had the privilege of interacting with her a little more intimately at the Carroll's... She always been so intent on enjoying every interaction she had with people who crossed her path...so present, authentic and caring. The world has lost such an amazing woman. I am eternally grateful for the relationship that I had with Mrs Sheppard-She was the "grandma" figure in my life, for which I am so thankful. Over the years I witnessed how she saw the best in everyone - a truly admirable quality. I will cherish the time we spent together at her home in Falconbridge. Whether it was doing odd jobs, our annual gardening session - she had such beautiful flowers and took such pride in them- playing cards, Yahtzee, or baking - she was truly a ray of sunshine. I loved making her smile - her laugh was infectious - she loved a good joke! She was fearless-overcame everything life handed her-a true inspiration! I am so grateful for all of the memories over the years. I love you and will miss you "Sheppy"
