My thoughts are with you and your families Carolyn, Larry, John and Aunt Helen as you grieve the passing of your father and beloved son Carroll. I have many precious memories of times spent with Aunt Helen, Uncle Cortis and Carroll at the farm in Forresters Falls. They always made you feel at home. I also have memories of reunions when the families gathered as one to enjoy good companionship. Carroll Black will be dearly missed.

Carolyn, Larry and John I am so sorry to hear about Carroll. He was best man at Johnny and my wedding in 1967. And Johnny stood for him. We have stayed friends over the years and I just spoke to Carroll a number of time last November. I’ll always cherish the memories we made.

Dear Aunt Helen, Keith and family, You are in our thoughts at this very sad time. I have vivid memories of Sunday family visits at Aunt Helen, Uncle Cortis and Carroll's home in Forrester's Falls. I'm glad we had so many times together in the 70's Aunt Helen although it was a difficult time with Uncle Cortis' illness. You have had a lot of painful times in your life and I want you to know you are loved and well thought of, always Joan.

My deepest condolences to the family he will be missed. We have shared the bond of extended family that included 35 first cousins on the Black side. I still have found remembrances visiting with Aunt Helen, Uncle Cortis and Carroll on the farm at Foresters Falls.
