Denise’s colleagues at RTO/ERO (Retired Teachers of Ontario/Les enseignantes et enseignants retraités de l'Ontario) send their condolences. We know that your best comfort will come from the telling of her life's stories by those who knew the joy of her presence in their lives, including her students and staff members. Denise's name has been added to our In Memoriam. She will be remembered at our next meeting and a donation will be made to the RTO/ERO Foundation in memory of Denise Menard. I never met Denise, but know Giselle and her daughter, Elyse. Giselle always spoke fondly of her sister and was excited about an upcoming trip with her. Condolences to the entire family.

My thoughts are with Denise's family at this time. I am fortunate to have shared many nature walks with Denise and as a fellow educator, admired her passion for teaching her students. She will continue to have a lasting influence on those who knew her.

My heart goes out to Denise’s family.she was truly a gentle soul and I know that she will be greatly missed.I have many wonderful memories but her big smile and laugh was always the constant.
