He was a kind man and when my dad, i would stop by he would ask how is Pauline and connie to see how they were doing. One time he almost got my aunt drunk have some more sherry salute. May he rest in peace amen.

Sending our deepest condolences to the Lavallie family. We were neighbours on Southview and saw Richard almost everyday walking...He always had a smile on his face and a wave as he passed us. My most sincere and deepest sympathy for the Lavallie family. I met Richard in September 1967 in Windsor, ON. I have spent time with Richard and the family at Little Fairbanks and he spent time with me in Victoria, BC and Prince George, BC. We have always kept in touch over the past 51 years, I will miss our phone calls. RIP my dear friend, my memories are strong and will be with me always. Your friend, Mark
