Beloved wife of John Kalinowski predeceased 1978. Loving mother of Rose Bowlby (husband Ken) and Joseph Kalinowski predeceased 2012 (wife Sandra). Cherished grandmother of Chandra, Katherine, John, Tracey, and great grandchildren Autumn Ivory and Riley. Dear daughter of George and Doreen Prihodka both predeceased. Dear sister of Walter, Alexei, Maria, Vera, and Nadia all predeceased. Dear aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Katherine was born in Kursk, Russia. She married John Kalinowski in Germany in 1945. They settled in the Sudbury area in 1953. She had been a member of the Polish Senior Citizens’ Club, SPK, Polish Combatants’ Ladies’ Auxiliary, the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies’ Auxiliary, and St. Casimir’s Church. She was also a volunteer with the Canadian Red Cross.
