A few years ago, for a graduation trip, me and two of my best friends went and stayed with my aunt Marnie and uncle Bob at their house in Florida. We were there for my birthday, and decided to spend the day at Clearwater beach, which was a bus ride away from Marnie and Bob's place. On my birthday, Bob drove us to the tram station so we'd have less distance to travel to make it to the beach. It was a Sunday...... turns out the tram doesn't run on Sundays. We tried to take the city bus, missed it, and ended up standed in a little town in the middle of nowhere (aka close to no beach). After trying to figure out the impossible bus timetables, and failing, we caved and called Bob for help. He drove aaaaaallll the way out to the town that we had ended up in, rescued us, drove us to a beautiful little secluded beach that no busses even drove out to, AND THEN came back to pick us up after. That night, he and Marnie took us out for a beautiful birthday dinner, and even surprised me with me a birthday cheesecake (my favourite!). I had an amazing birthday staying with them in Florida, due in part to how sweet, accommodating and helpful Bob was. Bob was an amazing and kind man who I'm sure will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
