In Loving Memory
of
Millie Cormier
age 85 years, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, March 5th, 2017.
She is survived by her loving children: Donna (Hugh) Harrison of Azilda, Laurie Fournier of Sudbury, Janice (John) Brunet of North Cobalt, David (Kathryn) Cormier of Azilda and stepson Frank (Kyra) Cormier of Wales, British Isles. Cherished grandmother of Eric, Alex (Chantal), Crystal, Reilly, Nolan, Nathan, Aimee, Becky and great grandchildren Harper, Bay and Brannya. She is survived by her sister Dolly (Art) McFadden of Oak Bank, Manitoba. Predeceased by her husband Frank in 2003, as well as her parents, Katherine Durkalo and Mike Porobich. She is also predeceased by her brother Walter. She will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Millie loved life as it came. She was devoted to her family and thoroughly enjoyed family get togethers. She enjoyed getting together with her friends to play bingo, cards and occasionally going to the theatre center. She also loved her alone time where she would read, do crossword puzzles (in pen no less) or just watch TV. Millie was a devout member of St. Alexander’s Parish in Chelmsford. She took her faith seriously. She was also a long time member of the CWL and had many dear friends through the church. She left her mark in this world and will surely be missed by all who knew her.
