Jason was such an outstanding person by all accounts and it is very hard to understand how we can loose him at such a young age while he was quite literally still in his prime. He will be greatly missed by everyone.

Condolence: It is difficult to find the words to express the profound sadness I feel on hearing of Jason's passing. I was so fortunate to have the opportunity to be involved in Jason's training during his radiology residency at Western. I have seen many excellent residents come through the program over the 25 years I have been on staff in London and among those residents, Jason was a "shining star". His brilliance, humour and his larger than life presence will never be forgotten. I hope his wonderful qualities will live on through his beautiful children. Condolence: Dear Michelle and family, Witek and I remember Jason well as a talented and fun loving resident who had great career aspirations but always with a focus on his family. There are no words that will ease the pain during this time of sorrow for you all, just know that Jason's life touched many with meaning and we will always remember him, each of us with our own special memory. We recalled with a smile his love of music and his various entertaining compositions which he always sang with humour at our annual December dinners. One of our very best has gone to join others who have gone before him, may Jason rest in eternal peace. Condolence: Kate and I are deeply saddened by Jason's untimely passing. Jason and I were residents at the same time, and it is his friendship that is one of the most precious memories from those years. His devotion to the profession was inspiring as was his skill. But it was his easy-going personality along with unmatched sense of humor and wit that really made us all smile, laugh and love every minute we spent with him. Jason, my friend, you left us too soon, but memories of the times we shared will live on. To Michelle, Elizabeth, Paul, Everest, and the rest of your family, our sincerest condolences.

Condolence: I met Jason as a trainee in our Radiology training program in London and he was a standout in many regards. He had a wonderful gift of spontaneous humour and joie de vivre that made everyone smile and relax. He could light up the room with his loud laughter and jokes - a born actor and comedian.

Teaching sessions and presentations were lively and you never quite knew what to expect. He was unfailingly kind and went out of his way to help others.

So sad to see him pass so early in life.

Condolence: I was devastated to hear this week about Jason's passing. It is hard to understand why someone so young, brilliant, and kind hearted would have to leave us so soon. I knew Jason from Radiology Residency, and I remember him fondly as one of the brightest and merriest personalities around. He could light up a room with his easy grin and wit. Not only was he incredibly talented at radiology, but he had an easy way with people, whether they were colleagues, patients, or strangers. Everyone felt his genuine kindness and his humor touched all of us in some way. I am grateful to have had you in my life as a colleague and friend, Jason, if only for a short while. Condolence: Dear Mr. and Mrs Ashley (Paul and Dorothy)...I learned tonight of the passing of Jason when speaking to my parents in Smooth Rock; It saddens me deeply that such a gentle, large soul as Jason has been taken much to early. As life takes us in so many directions, I hadn't seen Jason in decades when a few years ago we met by accident as mom was going through a procedure in his department. What a kind and caring person he was to take the time to sit with dad and I for such a long time, making us feel both comfortable and at ease while reminiscing about our time in Smooth Rock; not to mention making us laugh. You know best the amount of such stories about Jason but I hope this small acknowledgement of the man he was brings you some comfort in this very sad time.
