Obituary for
Marilyn Rose Ferguson (St. Pierre)
Marilyn Rose Ferguson (fondly known to many as Mimi) passed away peacefully, Wednesday, October 11th, 2017 at Health Sciences North. She leaves behind her husband, Donald, of 53 years. Loving mother of Sue Lekun (husband Mike), and Paul Ferguson (wife Nina). Cherished grandmother of Kyle and Kelsey Lekun and Jacob and Bennett Ferguson. Dear daughter of Charles and Evelyn St. Pierre both predeceased and dear sister of Gail (husband Bruce Burgess). Mimi lived a life full of joy and family pride. She never missed a chance to celebrate her children or her grandchildren. On the bleachers at the hockey rink, the sidelines at a soccer game or graduation ceremonies, Mimi was there to cheer on her team….her family. She loved Florida vacations, her Blue Jays, pop-in lunches with her grandchildren, casino road trips with Larry and Donalda, and meals at the Caruso Club. She valued the close relationship she had with her loving daughter and cherished her daily phone calls with her son and daughter-in-law. Mimi will be remembered as a loving and committed wife, mother, and friend. She will be forever missed. Memorial Mass in Holy Redeemer Church, 1887 Bancroft Drive, Sudbury, Monday, October 16th, 2017 at 11am. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Lung Association or COPD (Sudbury Chapter) would be appreciated. (Friends may gather at the church after 10:45 am Monday).
