Who passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 10th, 2018.

Beloved husband of Helvi Pulkkinen predeceased. Loving father to Kari Pulkkinen and Jari Pulkkinen (Meghann, children Dempsey and Chloe), Paul Piilonen (Lydia predeceased, children Aleksi, Joseph and Dana) and Leo Piilonen (Ellen, children Miriam and Eli). Born in Finland, Veikko immigrated to Canada in 1957 and worked as a woodcutter, and heavy duty mechanic for many years. One of the many things Veikko will be remembered for is his love and passion for x-country skiing. Funeral Service will take place at the Lougheed Funeral Home, 252 Regent St., at Hazel St., Sudbury on Saturday, January 20th, 2018 at 11:30am. (Friends may gather after 10:30am Saturday). After coffee and greetings, interment to follow at the Civic Memorial Cemetery.
