David Clinton Leitch
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of David Clinton Leitch. Beloved son of Dugald Clinton Leitch (predeceased 1954), Helen (Leitch) Mazure (nee Malkoski) and stepson to Jules Mazure (predeceased 1989). Cherished brother of Ross Ranger, Karen Votour (Roy), Jim Mazure (Georgia), Don Mazure (Betty), Barbara Upton (Robin), Janna Reid (Gary) and Cindy Waller (Rob). Deeply missed, fondly and forever remembered by many nieces, nephews, and their families and many good friends. He will be fiercely missed for his generous nature, genuine kindness, and especially his quirky sense of humour. He was an amazing and positive influence and mentor for the younger generation, helping shape their personalities with a gentle hand and warm heart. We share memories of his world-famous ice cream sundaes, giant everything cookies, finding and sharing treasures, many adventures and activities at the camp on the Key River, as well as his gentle teasing and jokes. Dave was the genuine soul of our family, and we were blessed with his love and laughter. If only you could have known him, as we knew him.
At Dave’s request, there will be no visitation or service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Arrangements entrusted to the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home.
