at Health Sciences North

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, wife, and friend. She is survived by her daughters Marlene MacLeod (Myles) and Joy Beausoleil and her much loved and loving grandchildren Shayne Beausoleil (Carole), Amber Beausoleil Stephens (Hugh), Blair Rochette, Mandy MacLeod, Ian MacLeod and her great granddaughter Paige. She will be missed by her best friend of over 50 years Claudette Rivers and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Armanda Chaput, her sisters Rosemarie Hiléraguy, Marguerite Christison and Rita Latendresse as well as her beloved daughters Doreen Rochette and Carol Wilson. Also predeceased by her husband Ernest Rivard and very special love of 25 years Emerson Christink and god son Kim Christison and special niece Huguette Hiléraguy Machika.

Thérèse worked at Canada Post, Station “B” for over 30 years and was in charge of the philatelic counter. She loved to sing and go dancing and was very involved with the Country Music Travellers with dear friends Claudette and Bill Rivers. She adored travelling with them and her Emerson. She loved to read, travel, and especially spend time with her loving family. Thérèse was always a happy, optimistic, loving, outgoing person who had a real mischievous streak! She will be greatly missed and her memory will be cherished for all time.

(Friends may gather Tuesday from 2-4 and 5-7pm)
Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium with burial alongside her husband Ernest in the Lasalle Cemetery at a later date.
Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.
